Experience
20-years experience required in the related fields of Climate Change 10 years experience in senior
level in any public sector/private sector. Preference will be given for
candidates carrying international experience on DRR/DRM and/or Climate Change.
Competencies
Knowledge of managing funds particularly for Disaster Risk
Reduction / Disaster Risk Management (DRM)/ Climate Change; project management
/ implementation experience with large and operationally oriented
public/private organizations especially financial organizations with a
demonstrated track record of results on the ground. Demonstrated ability to
work effectively in a team environment, especially with technical staff. Good
understanding of public and non-public sector entities processes; and Proven
leadership and communication skills.
