Job Description:
We are seeking a professional, courteous, and organized individual to fill the role of Receptionist at Starr. As the face of our organization, the Receptionist will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our guests and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Greet visitors and clients as they arrive, ensuring they feel welcomed and are directed to the appropriate person or meeting room.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Preparing conference rooms before each scheduled meeting, may include coordinating catering and refreshment needs.
  • Maintain office security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, controlling access, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Schedule, manage, and coordinate meeting room bookings.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries and manage outgoing mail and messenger pick-ups.
  • Assisting in preparation of PowerPoint presentations and meeting materials.
  • Assist with the coordination of office events and meetings.
  • Update and maintain front desk policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining Executive Breakroom.
  • Contributing to the Processing Team effort by accomplishing daily tasks.
  • Additional roles and specialized tasks relating to Aviation department.
  • Proven work experience in a corporate environment as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, Administrative or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and other office productivity software, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Highly dependable and efficient, able to comply with deadlines.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
